Laminate is one of the most popular types of flooring and has advantages over wood parquet, which has made it one of the best choices for flooring. These advantages include easy installation, lower cost and more water resistance.

The most important difference between parquet and laminate is how they are installed. Special glue is used to install the parquet and it has a lot of dirt.After the glue dries, the parquet surface is sanded and then a layer of varnish is applied on it. But laminates do not need any glue to run. The laminates have grooves called clicks around them, which are inserted and locked in the form of male and female.As a result, a large surface can be laminated very quickly and without dirt. On the other hand, because no glue is used to install them, they can be easily assembled and re-installed elsewhere.


Before laminating, special foams are spread on the floor, which both play the role of flattening the floor and are a good insulator for sound and heat.

Not using glue in laminate installation makes the use of this flooring does not damage the main floor of the room. For example, if the floor of the room is paved and after a while you want to collect the laminates, you have no problem and the paving will be safe.

Parquets, because they are made of pure wood, react strongly to water and swell when wet.For this reason, using them in humid environments such as the kitchen is not suitable at all. Laminates are much more resistant to water.

Parquets are sensitive to sharp objects and can be damaged very quickly. Therefore, they are not suitable at all for families with lively children. Laminate has better resistance to sharp objects and is more difficult to damage.

Parquet is more durable and long-lasting than laminate. Properly covered, it will withstand a great deal of adverse conditions.While the useful life of laminate is about 10 years. While being natural, parquet does not easily lose its design and role.
