What is meditation?

Meditation, also known as meditation, is generally a technique and method of mastering the mind.

According to the proponents of this method, the goal of meditation is to train and control the mind by introspective techniques to achieve deep and long-lasting awareness and peace of mind and independence. Meditation is a mental and physical technique and exercise in which a person slowly draws her attention in order to achieve physical and mental relaxation. Most forms of meditation have been practiced from Eastern religious practices, especially from India, China, and Japan. Only in the last three decades have these techniques been used seriously to achieve health, especially to treat stress and reduce chronic pain.

Do you feel that your mind is not focused? Do you have a lot of stress? Are you depressed? Do you have a lot of thoughts? If so, it may be time to end all these negative situations. How? With meditation.

Meditation has many benefits for the human body and soul, and do not doubt that by doing this regularly, you can witness many positive changes in your life. These include the following:

Your appreciation and gratitude will increase as you go about your daily life. The feeling of boredom disappears from the repetitive things you do and you will deal with your life with more joy and happiness every day.

You will get rid of the constant whispers of your monkey mind. Monkey mind means anxious, restless, whimsical, capricious and dreamy mind.

The body's blood pressure drops.

You will be able to recognize your mental illusions and you can control them. As a result, more vitality will be added to your daily life.

You will attract a lot of positive forces into your life.

If you think that in order to meditate, you must sit idle for an hour, and this thought will disappoint you to continue working; We have to say that your way of thinking is not right. You do not need to pose like a Buddha in the lotus flower position and fix your ankles on your thighs. All you have to do is sit in a chair or lie on the floor and look at the ceiling.

Meditation is not hard work, and it is not the case that you just sit together. For example, there are moving meditations such as Taichi or Kyung Kung that you can try.

It is also interesting to note that some people even meditate while walking. By focusing on each step, they try to avoid thinking about the negative distractions of their minds.

Know that you can do your mind meditation in any place that is quiet and you can concentrate for several minutes; Even in the parking lot of the house.

To meditate, you can go out and focus on the sound of birds in the park or the leaves of the trees below you. At the same time, take deep breaths and get oxygen and give back carbon dioxide.

Whenever you decide to meditate, the first step to calming your brain and relieving stress is to conclude that you really want to change your lifestyle.

Always repeat this sentence to yourself: I bring peace and tranquility to my life. Say this sentence from the bottom of your heart and believe it. When you understand the power of this sentence, you will feel that you are on the path to success and progress and all your focus will be on the positive.

Meditation duration per day

If you are new to meditation, it may be best to spend a maximum of one or two minutes each day. The reason is that you realize that eliminating negative thoughts from your mind is not an easy task and requires a lot of practice. Remember, the purpose of meditation is to focus on your breathing.

You should also focus on the phrase that you want to absorb positive energies, health, peace and wealth into your life. It is very normal for negative thoughts to start circulating in the meantime. Do not stop practicing and concentrating. You need to practice concentrating and breathing well enough to become proficient and in control of your brain's thoughts and sounds. Whenever you feel like you are thinking, immediately put all your attention on your breathing. You can even practice focusing and not thinking by staring at the candlelight.

Meditation and meditation, like other tasks, have their own difficulties in the beginning, and you have to overcome the difficulty of its exercises in order to achieve the desired result.

When you succeed in one to two minute meditations, try to spend at least 10 minutes every morning or night concentrating, meditating, and clearing your mind of any thoughts, stress, or worries.

To do this type of meditation, all you have to do is stare at a picture of a flower, running water or flame and focus on it. Or you can focus on feeling something: for example, the shape of the fingers and how they are positioned relative to each other; Put the way you breathe or even your mind on the order of your spine.

If you want to meditate while sitting, it is better to sit on all fours in a quiet place. Put your hands on your feet. Close your eyes and focus on the movement of air from your mouth to your lungs as you breathe. For example, take three or four regular breaths first. Then take deep breaths. During this work, be sure to put all your mind and thoughts and focus on your respiration and exhalation.
